Meet Susan Tyler Witten

Susan Tyler Witten is a lifelong Louisville resident, an Eastern Jefferson County native, and a proven conservative leader delivering real results for Kentucky families.

After growing up in Eastern Jefferson County and graduating from Eastern High School, Susan built a successful career in business before answering the call to public service. Today, she proudly represents Kentucky's 31st House District, where she focuses on the issues that matter most to the families she serves: keeping Kentucky affordable, protecting our communities, strengthening education, and improving the quality of life across the Commonwealth.

In Frankfort, Susan has worked to lower Kentucky's income tax so hardworking families can keep more of what they earn. She has supported legislation to crack down on violent criminals, invested in Kentucky's schools, and championed practical solutions to address housing affordability.

Susan also authored Ethan's Law, making the torture of dogs and cats a felony in Kentucky, and led efforts to strengthen rabies protections for family pets—because protecting the vulnerable, whether people or animals, is simply the right thing to do.

Recognized for her leadership, Susan serves as Co-Chair of Kentucky's Housing Task Force, where she works with local leaders, businesses, and housing experts to expand opportunities for families and future homeowners.

Susan lives in Jeffersontown with her husband, Dwight. She remains committed to listening to her constituents, putting Eastern Jefferson County first, and delivering the kind of commonsense leadership that gets results.
